Kraftwerk tried to stop " Radio-Activity" after the war german radio became American Radio,so they were trying to find an identity. Machines, Robots, the Autobahn were the true influences. either way, If you link them or not. Both are two great bands that take a beating. Nothing like the Jonas B's, or any of that shit that kids are listening to now.

Yes but not for a while. You can't really compare them to modern musicians to kraftwerk though. It's like trying to compare modern rock to The Beatles

Agree, these modern musicians that try, as they may ,Kraftwerk will never be equalled.Ive seen 3 of the guys in current performance photos, have you visited thier Myspace page?
